Mission

A mission gives one awakening a finish line. It is not permission to roam until the bot runs out of ideas, and continuity from an older mission does not silently widen the next one.

Admission

Admission pins the exact Pattern and adapter revisions, managed or attached server mode, authenticated bot UUID, world identity and epoch, attested server capabilities, region lease, blueprint, deadline, budgets, and permitted reads and effects. Missing or stale authority refuses the mission before the Mind proposes a world action.

A canonical BlockGrid@1 admitted by exact digest may describe desired blocks; it grants no placement authority. A Sponge .schem remains hostile source and transport evidence until a pinned parser reads it back, applies its offset and DataVersion policy, rejects or records every unsupported state, and normalizes it to that canonical grid. A closed procedural blueprint must likewise be evaluated by its admitted interpreter before it becomes desired-block truth. Sentinel computes and validates each bounded effect from the resolved grid against the world epoch, leased region, inventory, server capabilities, and mission policy. A preview, generated grid, or successful offline round trip cannot be cited as evidence that the live world changed.

Four application records keep long-lived meaning distinct:

Record What it carries
Mission this finite objective, constraints, cursor, outcome, and exact non-completion
Project purposeful continuity that may relate several separately admitted missions
Relationship world-local social continuity and commitments; never a tool, world permission, Persona, or general Lich memory
Memory candidate material proposed for later remembrance; not admitted Memory by declaration

Only the project and memory records relevant to the admitted mission enter its Context. The inhabitant does not receive an endless hidden session, and a relationship cannot grant a lease, tool, or effect.

When an Avatar presence enters the mission, Blockworld records the exact Avatar profile, presence, projection-binding, and Persona references but does not copy their projection topology. Avatar may receive attributed mission results; it cannot advance the mission cursor or claim a world effect.

One finite awakening

  1. Read bounded world status, inventory, region, nearby entities, and recent chat.
  2. Recall only the admitted project and relevant memory material.
  3. Propose one typed step inside the mission envelope.
  4. Let Sentinel validate, issue, and verify that step.
  5. Commit its action receipt and advance the durable mission cursor.
  6. Continue within budget, finish, or return the exact reason the mission is incomplete.

Public autonomy, unrestricted exploration, administrator commands, remote shell, cross-plot power, server or modpack mutation, and an invented success after uncertain effects are not alternate endings. They are refusals. A managed server changes only through a separately admitted deployment, never by widening an inhabitant mission.
