Maintenance

Maintenance turns attributable alarms, inspections, runtime, or calendar evidence into bounded work. It can contain, investigate, schedule, and verify; it cannot manufacture professional authority or close a fault from silence.

homestead.maintain_site@1 returns containment advice, research needs, a work order, verification, or an explicitly unresolved state. Requirements sent to Scavenger state compatibility, certification, serviceability, environment, budget, and evidence needs. Scavenger returns dated candidate and seller evidence, never purchase or commissioning authority.

A human or droid work order binds the exact asset, zone, tools, resources, expiry, stop conditions, and expected verification. Design certification, permits, construction, unsafe energization, interlock bypass, hazardous repair, and general robot authority remain outside Homestead. A local controller or emergency stop may refuse fresh work even after LychD admitted it.

Tether may eventually carry private inspection and exact approved controls, but tunnel possession supplies no Principal or effect authority and never falls back to a public dashboard. Cameras require a named purpose, privacy masks, active hours, viewers, and retention; face recognition, neighbour surveillance, ambient audio, public streaming, and indefinite retention are absent by default. Prism's future live Sight session may analyze an admitted feed under those limits; it gains no camera, maintenance, droid, or site authority.

A lost acknowledgement remains an unknown effect. Recovery reads the controller, independent evidence, and any open work or hazard before repeat or closure. Return to Homestead.
