Sound boundary
Riffmaw retains sound only when its role is musical: instrument and vocal processing, designed timbres, samples, transitions, textures, and production effects judged inside a composition, arrangement, or mix. Their sources, tools, transformations, rights posture, parameters, and digests remain attached, and technical fit never substitutes for musical acceptance.
Picture-bound sound effects, foley, room tone, environmental beds, and ambience belong to Broadcast because their meaning and acceptance depend on an exact picture, editorial timebase, event, place, material, distance, perspective, and continuity. Other application-specific sound remains with its consuming Composition. Sharing a codec, plug-in, generator, or DAW does not move that judgment into Riffmaw.
Reusable standalone sound packs have no accepted owner in the current Portfolio. A future standalone-sound Composition may earn that office if its records, acceptance, recovery, and consumers prove an independent lifecycle. Until then Riffmaw publishes no standalone sound-pack Pattern; unexplained library material or provider-returned sound remains an attributable candidate, not accepted music.
