Circle

A world opens where the Circle closes.

The same boundary appears at several scales. A host gives one Lich a place to answer. A Bridge séance lets a relation continue. Within it, an admitted Invocation opens a Circle for one answerable act. Caller and Called meet there with an Intent, Sigil, Context, selected memory, capability, and authority. The boundary holds their action and its consequence together.

A Circle begins at admission, not when a browser draws a ring. Its Run anchors durable execution truth. Several people, Agents, Postures, or model powers may participate, each with attribution, separate authority, and refusal. Their meeting creates no fused super-Sigil or identical interior.

The casting inside the Circle

Spellweaver admits the exact Scroll, an immutable Pattern revision. Its placed Spells name the semantic actions the casting may perform. A placement can request an Agent, tool, Gate, effect, delegation, or typed capability; admission and authority still determine whether that request may be met.

An admitted Animator supplies Animus, active capability power through its Connector and exact CapabilityGrant. Graph gives casting typed movement; model and tool returns remain candidates. Within Spirit's present Flux, Blade discriminates and Answer binds the act. Many participants may help it arrive; one local Answer remains responsible for what it binds.

What Bridge can show

The compact Circle beside a reply shows supplied Run status and activity, with Look into the Orb and an explicit Cancel Run for an eligible nonterminal projection. Expand Circle to read the full Run identity, supplied Pattern revision and delegated-job identity. View declared score opens Loom only when its supplied path matches that exact Pattern revision. These are navigation hints; Loom still verifies the Run's pinned manifest before offering a contextual return.

Older retained replies may lack Run status or a declared score. Circle identifies those omissions and offers the Run evidence link without inventing the missing metadata. A mismatched Run projection is reported and cannot supply status or actions for another Run. Consent remains beside its own request and decision controls.

Circle is the conceptual pinnacle inside Bridge, not a separate Altar instrument. No composed Circle workspace, active-Spell map, Context/authority inspector, participant-attribution view, or cross-instrument focus mode is delivered.

Follow Bridge to offer an Intent, answer consent, or recover an uncertain offering. Choose Look into the Orb beside the turn to inspect that Run's evidence.

A future Bridge-native focus may join authorized views of that same Invocation: Loom's exact score and casting state; Caller, Called, Sigil, Context, budgets, and consent; Nexus's capability and Animator observations; and Orb's bounded traces. The view must be reconstructible from its owners. A selected node, animation, open stream, or model utterance cannot establish progress or authority on its own.

What can outlast the act

The Run remains ledger truth. Oculus and the Orb expose traces of activity, with their gaps and limits intact. A trace cannot replace Run, consent, effect, or artifact truth.

Memory policy may preserve attributable residue as a Seed, a trace with potency to shape a later Invocation. Ouroboros names that formative return through evaluation, attribution, consent, memory policy and Recall. Repeating a Graph cycle alone does not accomplish it.

The greater Summoning Circle

In Summoning, the Magus draws the enduring boundary around this host: Codex, Crypt, local identity, Animators, mounts, secrets, and reach. Code builds the Bridge; these choices determine the conditions under which its Lich may answer. They must become inspectable configuration and security boundaries.

Each Invocation opens a smaller living Circle within those conditions. At either scale, authentication, policy, capability admission, consent, and effect authorization retain their own work. The symbol makes their relation visible; it cannot perform it.
