Keeper lifecycle
A seasonal review must not silently relocate a colony or declare its reproductive state.

Review the relevant axes
Keep development, reproductive or brood observations, recurring seasonal mode such as diapause, current placement, and care or health observations separately addressable. There is no universal sequence covering a dog, a hen group, and a colony. A recurring seasonal mode can be reviewed while placement and development remain unchanged.
For the colony example, a review may distinguish founding or worker growth from an observed brood phase, a proposed or confirmed seasonal regime, and its current tube or formicarium placement. The admitted profile defines applicable phases and evidence requirements. Preparation for diapause, diapause, and return to activity are possible recurring regime labels, not a universal timetable or the final stages of colony development. A mixed-age group retains its cohorts or observations instead of assigning every member the same life stage.
Link observed behavior to its observation record. Identify model interpretation as interpretation, with its source, uncertainty, effective time, and profile revision. An observation of reduced activity does not itself establish a seasonal mode, illness, or death. Missing telemetry is not evidence of death.
Change requirements deliberately
A review can propose changed feeding or environmental requirements using an admitted, source-reviewed profile. Identify the previous and proposed profile revisions and which needs require review. Dates and counts alone cannot authorize a transition, and a profile update cannot silently change an active plan. Refer resulting work to territory, feeding, or care with explicit dependencies.
Finish with a review
The result is a committed review, proposed requirements, or a partial or blocked result naming missing evidence. It grants no diagnostic or treatment authority and performs no physical action. Later observations start another finite review while preserving earlier interpretations and corrections in the subject's history.
